  1. IMO, yes it is a good home theater receiver.

    Do a search for "Denon AVR 987 reviews" and read what others think of this fine receiver.


  2. Denon make great receivers.  Probably their best products.  This particular model is a great choice...my aunt has the same receiver with a set of Polk Audio speakers and it sounds fantastic.
