I got a hamster from a pet shop it looks pregnant is she?

one day i go to a pet shop their was a hamster that was maybe dropped of in a little smaller cage than a ten gallon with no wheel she looks fat when i got home i put her in a cage the size of 4 ten gallon tanks because i thought she needed the more space and i gave him a wheel then 3 or 4 days later i gave him a 10 gallon tank with his wheel he he nocked over the wheel 2 or three times and flipped over her food bowl digging out the corners then i put in some pillow fluff and she put a bunch of it in her house and never used the house then i guess she got tired from working and she went to sleep the next day i put in more fluff and she made a house in a corner with the fluff and used the house in the corner and slept in it i felt the stumach i felt lumps is she pregnant

you could take you hamster to a vet and get them to sort her out

Yeah she sounds like shes pregnant mine did the excate same thing, and i didnt even know she were pregnant until i started to clean out her house and a babie fell out onto the sawdust it crapped me up LOL

Me also think she were pregnant before i had her, even though i did buy a male, why i say that is because the black male hamster i have full BLACK, none of the babies are black lol, the female hamster is golden brown, and the three babies are white, light brown, and goldren brown LOL, Really strange hahaha.

So yeah im glad you have notice she might be pregnant it is VERY possible. So just keep and eye out, and if she is dont clean her tank , or touch the babies, she might eat them lol

she may be,but  again maybe not cause she is supposed to be in a cage with all girls at a pets store.

but some times they get the s*x mixed up.

    my best friend got her hamster from the mall and a few weeks later she had baby's  when she was supposed to be in a cage with all girls!

when you look down at her does she look like she's in the shape of a pear, then she probably is, and the  thing yopu said she's doing digging in the fluff, she's probably doing something called "nesting" she's making a nest were she'll put all her future children, right after they're born.

Also Brendy: some pet stop employee's are very uneducated so they put both s*x's in the same cage since they can't tell them apart. Like I bought a multimammate mouse from choice pet.they never seperate the s*x's and long story short my baby mice are going to be  a month old in 2 days.
