Question:

I got a iron but it burned my clothes and my rug!?

and it has smoke in my room! What do I do? They say I can't return it! I called them but they don't even care! So what do I do? This is no joke. Thank you!

  1. Clothes = Trash

    Smell = Air freshener, deoderizer. Air it out

    Carpet = I would get a pro to cut a peice out of a closet & seam it in. You could probably get it done for $50-$75

Go buy an ironing board with a cover.  You probably shouldn't have been ironing on the rug.  Your rug was probably some type of synthetic fiber that burned or melted because the iron was too hot for it.  Also make sure to set the iron to the heat level for the type of material you are ironing - look at the label on your clothes and then pick the matching setting on your iron.  Different types of fibers in clothing have different heat setting on your iron.
