I got a itouch protective case and at the top there is a circle?

yeah so i got a case for my itouch and at the top right there is this hole in it and well. i dont know what to do with it.

This is the port for the ambient light detector.

The device has auto brightness so needs to know how bright the room is. You can't see the detector under the glass but the case would block it and the device would think it was in a darkened room, thus it would dimm to its lowest level.

Leave the hole alone.
