  1. My boyfriend used to work in Cork Ireland.

    Ireland has a higher minimum wage and lower tax's.

    He says even though he was in a low level job he has never had so much money as then!

  3. I live in west yorkshire, and if i got a job in Dublin i would go!! My parents are Irish and are from Dublin, iv been to dublin so many times..........Its a great place and the wages are better plus you wont have to pay as many taxes than over here in the UK. So your financial state would be probably better!

  4. the cost of living in more expensive in Ireland though, from Galway but living in glasgow and i can survive over here on half the amount i survive on at home! and as other people said, it would depend where in the UK you're going!!

  9. Which part of the UK? It is a bloody big place and Edinburgh is a whole different place to be than Stoke-on Trent for example.
