Is that too far away? I am also a full time college student. Will it be smart to take the job? Its a weekend job. Or should I find somewhere closer.

  1. take the job. nice to have a job. i like to drive and would like a job 40 miles away. it's good and bad. the relaxing part after a long day driving home relaxes me.

go for. try it you may like it.

  2. i really think its a good idea to look for something closer.

thats a far distance...it will eventually wear you down. just think after driving all day you will have to sit in your car for about an hour when you probably will just want to get home.

  3. You have to think about the gas, gas prices are going higher.. Is it worth the pay? You have to think about how much money you're going  to spend on gas.. If you have a decent amount of money left over after to do the math with the gas than you should take the job..

    Hope I helped!

  4. That commute will cost you more than just the price of fuel, you'll increase the wear on tires and the rest of your car. How much value do you place on your time? I was driving 53 miles 5 days a week and it started to wear me down. It took me 2 hrs a day going to work and back. I drove it for 2 years, but gas was not this high.

If you need the job and the pay is right go for it, if it don't work out, find another.

  5. weekend job 40 miles away it would have to be a great paying job....... think a fill up of gas every three days and yes id have to keep looking

  6. I think you would burn up you extra $$ in gas. I would try and find something closer

    take Care
