Check with your local hobby shop, it might be an insert. FYI his original rookie card came out in the 89-90 set, both as an OPC and Topps, ironically on his rookie card he wore # 88 - made (in)famous (depending on your point of view) by Eric Lindros's refusal to play for Les Nordiques.

It is definitely a reprint, but who knows maybe you could sell it to some dumbass for a "good deal."

i dont know genius why dont you look at the date on the bottom of the card and then figure out what year he started playing, if the years dont match up then your still an idiot for asking this question
