I got a missed call on my house phone, but i don't know where the number is from. can anyone help?

I was sat at home when the phone rang. i ran to answer it, but too late, so i did 1471 to see who rang me, and it came up with 006079999999 not only did the ridiculous amount of 9's freak me out, but its got 12 digits. can anyone help me figure out where this call originated from?

weird you may need to get the cops involoved someones trying to give you a message a bad message.

probably an offshore telemarketer.  I wouldn't worry about it.

00-60 indicates a call from Malaysia.   The rest of the number may be genuine, but looks suspiciously liked a "spoofed" caller ID.  

Unless you know somebody out there, most likely a wrong number or one of the usual scam or marketing calls.

type the number google or yahoo to see who is it from but i think its just atelemarketing service

I got the same number calling me and it was someone telling me that I won a trip..*click* I don't need a trip especially since I did not entry a contest
