I got a new harddrive, how do I connect to wireless internet?

I got a new hardrive for my computer and the wireless internet that we have won't work.We plugged the wire into my computer and it won't connect that way either. We NEED internet because we can't do ANYTHING on that computer, we have to download flashplayer and tons of other stuff. How can I connect?

I having a hard time understanding your question. Installing a hard drive usually has nothing to do with wireless Internet.

Did you try to replace your existing hard drive or are you just adding a second drive?

If you trying to replace the original hard drive, put it back, and then get a friend (who knows their stuff) to help you. You will have to re-install the operating system to get the computer to work with the new drive, and that is not a chore for the newbie.

If you are adding a second drive, then drag out the CD that came with the hard drive and install the hard drive as shown in the manual.

Then sort out what you did to kill your wireless network. Try connecting with an Ethernet cable to the router and see what happens

So you installed a new hard drive. Did you re-install windows too or is this just a separate hard drive? If this is just a separate hard drive, it has nothing to do with your wireless internet.

If this is a replacement for the original hard drive with a fresh install of windows, you have to install the wireless card drivers. The drivers are programs that work with windows to allow hardware to work properly.  

Drivers can be downloaded from the manufacture's web site or installed from the disk that came with the wireless card.
