I got a new laptop and i want all my ipod's songs to be transferred to it, how do i go about doing this?

Alright well first of all, did you download all your songs using the itunes store, that is the only way you will be able to transfer the purchases. Ok, plug your Ipod into your computer. When you plug it in,(make sure you have itunes downloaded already), it should say "transfer purchases", "cancel", and some other thing. When that thing comes up, press "transfer purchases" then you are set. I hope I helped.

First, your iPod must be enabled as a disk use. To do this, open iTunes and connect your iPod. Click on it on the left under "Devices". Check "Enable Disk Use".

Now, go to "My Computer" and find your iPod. It probably will be a F:/ or G:/ drive. Open it. You go to "Tools", which should be somewhere on the top bar. Go to "Folder Options", and go to the "View" tab. This will probably be on the top bar somewhere. The first sub-folder under the first folder should say "Hidden Files And Folders". Unhide hidden folders. Click on the "iPod_Control" folder. Open the music folder. The folders will say "F001, F002, etc". Open each folder and drag the songs into your iTunes library.

yeh kinda sucks i jst got a new mackbook cuz my pc broke it wont let me tranfer the songs jst call apple and ask them thell let you redowload for free

Just hook up ipod to the Lap top and Copy and Paste the songs into Music Folder
