  1. Preheat it the same temp you will bake your pizza.

  2. Use some of those pot holders shaped like hands that have that aluminum shiny lining to hold the pan pulling it in and out.

  3. If you want crisper crust, preheat it.

  4. Yes you should preheat the stone. What's a "pizza peel?" Anyway the best way to get the pizza out of the oven is by sliding it onto a cutting board using whatever means you have to grip the pizza and pull it out.

Don't take out the pizza stone until it is cooled off, unless you have a holder for it (heatproof). Then you would need some good oven mitts.

    Good luck!

  5. I leave my stone on the bottom rack of my oven all the time. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes and the stone should be good and hot.

WIthout a peel (paddle) you could place the pizza on a piece of parchment paper so that you have something to tug on to pull the pizza out.

  6. Definitely pre-heat it for at least 15 minutes. You really should get a peel either wood or aluminum they're not too expensive, and how else are you going to turn the pizza? How do you put the pizza in the oven?
