  1. The lin.cr work-at-home website listed in these answers charges just short of the amount of money they could be arrested for fraud. But your question raises the old question of promotion by lateral transfer to another company at the same or even a lower level, where there is either no existing trouble, or better advancement potential. If the cracks are already forming in your present job, get something together fast, as once you are unemployed, people will want to pay you less money in a new job, as you are officially hungry. At your exit interview, make no secret of the criminal acts against you which made you seek employment elsewhere, or have to pay someone to stop lying about you to keep your job in a tight economy. Regards, Larry.

  2. Your right to respond to a written warning is normally part of the disciplinary process. This does not eliminate the warning or get you in trouble, but is designed to make the process more fair and objective, by giving you the opportunity to respond and including your response as part of the written record.

If part of the warning is not true, you can also make that case to HR or to a higher-level of management.  However, if part of the warning is true you need to deal with that right away, by improving, moving to a different job,  or moving to a new company.
