I got a question about Geisha's?

I just watched a video on you tube..about a 2 minute one..and it was talking about them.. i just wondered if they ever get married and have families..or do they scariface that in order to be a geisha?.. i hope i have not offend you with my question it was not my intent ..i was just wondering?

There are only a few thousand of them in the country. I'd guess they go home to their family after work.

  BTW, don't believe much of what you see on youtube.

when they retired from being a Geisha is when they could marry

Geisha/Geiko Do not marry unless they are ready to give up their lifestyle. There are no married Geiko or Maiko because they must retire. They study very long and hard to become what they are so giving up that life is not easy for them I think at least not until they get older.
