  1. Aww.  Andy, what would be the point of having a jet boat, if you didnt play with it.  :(  dont be so grumpy.

and the newer ones arent as loud as the old ones.  so there.

Sometimes the intake has a flap/lever to detect either a clogged inlet or empty inlet ..This prevents over-reving the engine and pump section,  WHICH BY THE WAY, REALLY DO NEED WATER IN THER 100% OF THE TIME or you'll over run it.  In some extreme cases, where they didnt install a scatter shield, the pump could blow and send schrapnel through the hull....think on it.

jumping wakes is about as exciting as it gets with this large a boat.  smaller ones can do some other tricks like a roll, but you need a really big wake for that.

  2. I am not sure why it would die if you hit a wave but be careful trying to do "tricks". One cool thing you can do though if its a twin engine is put 2 separate controls in for the different gates if it does not already have 2. No matter if you are going forward, revers, or idling your engins are always doing the same thing- sucking in water and spitting it out- the only thing that makes it gor forward or backwards is the gates. If you have 2 separate controls you  can have 1 gate up (forward) and the other down (reverse) and nail the throttle and you will be able to do some crazy 360's. Good luck but be careful doing anything, its really not what they are designed for.

  3. The best trick would be to leave it on dry land and not look like a pratt showing off!
