I got 2 points, and the fine is 170 dollars. I don't care about the money, but worried about the points. I do not want to drive 6 hours again to Cleveland to contest in court, is there any other way I can do to remove my points?

  1. nope. you have to go where you got the ticket.

  2. Call the court house ask if you are able to transfer to Ohio. If not Ride in a cab over there? J/k

Actually, when you get a speeding ticket outside our your home state, and you do NOT contest it, they do NOT report it to your home state (no points).  They (OH) cannot collect if you just ignore them.  So they are rewarding if you pay them.

Just to make sure go see a traffic lawyer (ask a taxi driver, they always know one) and he will confirm that.  This is what my lawyer told me when i got an out of state ticket.

    Good Luck...
