I got a stimlulus check for $600 from the gov't, but I'm a single male with no kids?

I thought I was only going to get $300, but low and be hold, I go to my PO BOx on Saturday and there's a check for $600. Did anyone else recieve a larger then expected sum? Does anyone know why I might have gotten the higher amount?

They raised it to $600 per individual and $300 per child.  My husband and I are childless and received $1200.

had you used the stimulus rebate calculator, you would of known exactly how much you qualify for.  I sure you  receive the right amount.

It was "UP to" $600 per person and $300 for children.
