I got a telus pay and talk phone and the texting doesn't work?

I just got a telus pay and talk phone and activated it yesterday. I have unlimited texting. I've sent like 10 text messages to test it and it says on my phone that they've been sent but nobody received them. I've also sent like 5 texts from my old phone to my new one and none of those worked either. What do i do?

  1. Contact the vendor. Your warranty should be in effect because you just bought the phone.


  2. There was a system outage with Telus last week where texts where either not being sent or they were being delayed. If this problem is still happening, you can contact the Telus DNA (Data Network Support) department and ask them to do a reset on your phone to help with your text messaging issues (they'll know what you mean) - the whole process should take less than 10 minutes and it should clear everything up. Remember, in order to use the unlimited text feature, you HAVE to have a balance on your account - so if your balance is $0, even if you have the feature it still won't work.
