I got a ticket for driving without a license, im a week from being 18, how long will the suspension be?

i got pulled over because of a broken tail light and i had my 10 yr old brother was with me and i got a ticket. They didnt get the car towed or give my parents a ticket. What is most likely going to happen when i go to court? i live in california.

suspension from being able to get my license...if you'd think about my question u would understand me...sorry some ppl...

  1. I would think that your parents know about the ticket, etc.

    If I were in your parents' position, and I wanted you to get your license at 18, then I'd be looking to hire the best lawyer I could afford to see this through the court system.  

    It isn't like you committed a crime like speeding or running a stoplight!  As a parent, I would think that the broken tail light was MY responsibility.

  2. You can't have your license suspended if you don't have a license.....

    You CAN be prohibited from obtaining a drivers license for up to 2 years.
