I got a ticket lastnight for not driving w/ lights on [it was 11pm]. Will ths ticket show up anywhere? where?

umm well i could see becuz there is a thing called street lights && other peoples lights.. its not that hard to see

Department of Motor Vehicles and ultimately at your insurance company.  At least you weren't speeding while driving without lights....how could you see?

Its a moving violation so yes it will show up.

It is a big deal as well for many reasons

All moving violations show up on your record and anything involving loosing points but that ticket is just a fine so Id not worry about it at all.

By the way in most places the law states lights can go on cars an hr before dusk but must be on an hr after dawn otherwise fined.

It'll show up on your driving record. You'll have to pay a fine, and possibly points added onto your licence.

Your insurance company may raise your rates because of it.
