Well you orthodontist will most likely implement hardware called "Power chains" which are elastic wire that pull the teeth together more quickly than the arch-wire. Power chains work quickly, it took my gaps about a year to close the gaps, probably shorter.

So it would most likely take anywhere from 8 months to a year and a half.
