i have no idea how it works, and how to interpret the values.

i want to connect it to one of my pc's (one has 550watts, the other 400watts power box)

on the ups it says:

input

230V 1+Nph

2.7A 50Hz

output

230V 1+Nph

2.6A 50Hz

360W

can i connect it to either of my PC's without problems?

(or preferably both?)

for power failure security.

  1. No.  You can only connect it to one PC.  Make sure you install the software that came with the device on your computer that you are connecting it to and connect the device to the computer with a USB or serial cable.  For each computer, you need one UPS.  A UPS regulates the current flow to a computer by giving a computer 120 volts with no variance and provides a temporary battery backup in case the power goes out so that you can correctly shut down your computer to avoid damage.  I have one; it is a MUST-HAVE for computer owners.

  2. No idea but I bet your wife's gonna be happy when she discovers it...
