I got a veritical lebret piercing and have a concern! Help!?

the healing process has been going great but there is a indent on the top of my lip where the ball sits. is this normal? is it dangerous and will it go away?

i had that too. its normall because a ball is being pressed on your lip. it wont go away unless you take it out. if you were to it would go away after a couple days

Sounds like the jewelry is to short,go back to your piercer and talk to them about it.

its normal and happens with all piercings. its just an indentation from the swelling of your skin. when the swelling goes down the indentation will mostly go away. some piercings will still have a slight indentation, it just all depends on the location of the piercing and how your body reacts to it.

yea-long jewelery will help it go away because their is no pressure on the lip from the jewelery. even if there is an indentation though, no one will notice it because the jewelery will be covering it!!!
