Oh thanks for the aspirin answer- that's what my ex-mother in law said when we told her I was pregnant the first time. That's why I put this answer. It made sense to me........

  1. I am beginning to think the censors are getting carried away.

  2. I wouldn't say so. Some folks are a bit sensitive though.

  3. Offensive?  No.  Someone didn't understand what you wrote and thought it was dirty I am sure.  Even worse whoever monitors those reports didn't understand it either.

    duh.

  4. Simple things can offend some (simple) people. It is crazy some of the stuff you get reported for. People need to lighten up and have a sense of humor. Life is too short.

  5. very sad that you have fallen in to victim of violation...

You can be noticed as violation if you violated the 'community guidelines' or the 'terms of service'. You can read these here:

    http://answers.yahoo.com/info/community_...

Common reasons for violation are: repeatedly posting adult content, insulting other users, objectionable speech, rude speech,non-polite answers, abuse or hurt the asker, cutting jokes, fun, throwing tonts, teases or spamming the site for advertising.

The best thing to do is to post in the Wrongful Violations Forum. A member of the team will be able to inform you of the reason your violation notice you can ask if you have any hope of re-reinstatement. Make sure to post your old account name (the sign in name). The forum can be found here:

    hope it can help you.

  6. not at all...more humorous than anything.  some people are so anal.

  7. Not offensive, surely just common sense.

  8. No, not offensive at all. You're showing your age. Once upon a time many many years ago, when I was a young teenager, there was no such thing as "The Pill" for birth control. Only condoms and the rhythm system was used. So, when we were to go out on a date we always (or suppose to) carried a nickel in our shoe in case we needed it to make a phone call to our parents if things got out of control on the date. There was always a joke about the nickel which was... "If you don't want to get pregnant, hold the nickel between your knees". So no, not offensive, not stupid as some else answered before me. Just repeating humor from history. This little phrase died out a long long time ago. The younger generation has no idea what you were talking about. It is obvious this little girl is from the younger generation since she does not understand your phrase, she considers this a stupid remark. Maybe those that reported you were from the same generation. By not understanding your phrase, perhaps they took it as a so called inappropriate way, so many people now days have their mind in the gutter and are too quick to judge before reasoning things out.

  9. their are to many morality police on here.............

  10. Not offensive, but not really that funny either

  11. Not at all. I think someone is randomly reporting people. My question was: Do you think that falling in love can make you believe in god? After I had chosen a best answer and everything, it was removed.

T, do you not get it or something? It's actually an intelligent answer.

  12. Not offensive at all!!  These yahoo people are going to lose alot of users if they keep up this stupid stuff. (insert your own profanity where ever you like it)

  13. No not offensive...but some people can't take a joke...unfortunately there is nothing you can do about it:(

  14. I think it is a fine answer....and I'm of the older generation, although it is difficult to say that much less think it..... it certainly was NOT offensive in the LEAST.  It is actually a great way to prevent pregnancy.  My women friends and I have been discussing it (Chicago), and whoever censored you is a tad silly.

I would agree with the other writer who said it was a youngster who didn't understand it, saw the words "between your legs" and immediately thought it was "DIRTY"..now, we don't want to be dirty do we?  LOL.

Give her a BREAK!  It was a good answer.
