I got a virus called backdoor.formador norton found it its a file i deleted and its in the recycle bin and now

i emptyied the recycle bin does that mean that the virus is gone.........please help .......thanks

Run another virus scan - make sure that norton is up to date on the virus definitions.

no when you delete something it does not disapear it is flagged by your computer and is allowed to be written over.

if you ran a file recovery program something like recuva

you will be amazed at what it will / can find...
