I got a weird IM on AIM?

i was talking to a friend of mine on AIM (aol instant messenger) when i got this IM from some screename i dont know. :

marlynodette33 (9:17:35 PM): Someone has an AIM Crush on you - - Click Here to find out who it is

I think you will be suprised when you find out who it is!

marlynodette33 signed off at 9:17:47 PM.

_______(my scrnme)____(9:24:52 PM): WHO ARE YOU

then if you clikc on it it goes to some weird website where you find out your "true loves name" which i really dont care. but what creeps me out is that whoever Marlyn Odette is, they knew my screename and yeahhh. i dont think its a robot, because AIM robots dont have screenames like that

so my question is

is this spam? or has some weird person gotten ahold of my screename?

The moment you set yourself up a screen name on an7y site it becomes available for use by anyone on that system, someone you know has probably given it away. Watch these kinds of IMs as they can often point you to a site which infects your machine.
