  1. Go take them with you.

  2. it's understandable that your kids are part of your life. however, so is the education which concerns your future career, which definitely benefits your children as well. it's difficult to make such decision, but i believe if you prioritize your time, you'll be able to make a good mom, loving wife and an outstanding student.

  3. Go

  4. I've watched a family fall apart because the mom was too busy with school to pay attention to her kids. That is awesome that you got accepted into yale, but once you have children you have to put their needs in front of your own. If the kids have a father figure still around that could make things a little easier. I think a mother should always think about her kids before herself.

    GOOD LUCK =]]

If your children are like 13+ and don't have a lot of friends at whatever school they are attending, that would be different.

  5. Then, why did you apply [yuppie]?

  6. Is this seriously a question of whether to not go to Yale or go and leave your children behind?

If it is I really don't know what to say excpet that I'm glad my parents weren't so selfish that they put themselves ahead of my and my sibling's well being.

  7. GO!!! People would DIE to have a chance like this! I would move close by, so my children would be close as well, but I would still be able to further my education. It also depends on how old your children are. If they are quite young, I might wait a while to attend. If they are both older than 10, I would go!

  8. Let's see: Your Kids versus Yale.  Oh, h**l, you can always have another kid!  New Haven here you come!

I can't believe you're debating this.  Can't you take the kids with you?

  9. If you don't want to leave your children then you may consider going to Yale but no boarding there. Board in an apartment and while you are at school you could leave them at a day care...it may be hard to take care of kids and handle school though.

  10. buy a house close to campus move all of you guys in and pay a babysitter or is one of your children 13 they can stay home alone.

  11. Go..My friend cried when she didn't get accepted.it is a one and a lifetime chance..it would probably never happen...your kids will understand and you will provide a better life for them if you wane to Harvard.

  12. if you dont go, when your kids are older and you tell them that you didnt go because of them, they'll feel bad and they would have wanted you to go.

Go, fullfil your dreams so they can be proud of you in the future and tell their friends how great their mom is.

    Hope I Helped, X.

  23. I gotta agree with answer #1... Take the kids with you!

    But it is your life...

You don't ALWAYS have to choose between intellectual satisfaction and maternal instinct... The two can work together...

If you can afford it, go... As long as your kids are well cared for, you can see them as often as your schedule allows...

    CONGRATZ ON GETTING IN!
