  1. okay read this very carefully. i got an 18 on my ACT score and i scored the highest out of my family. with the writing i got a 21 which was excellent as well. i asked my counselor and she said that an 18 was a good score enough to get me into college which made me appreciative of my score. but trust me, dont listen to the idiots who think an 18 is a bad score. they probably had those kind of parents who stressed them so hard to score above a 25. some ppl think getting a 25 is bad lol i dont know why, but they do. dont let it stress you man i hate that. you did good on the first try, that should tell you something. at least u didnt get a 14 or 15. great score on the sat. if that makes yuo feel better then send the SAT score to colleges.

  2. An 18 is a bit below average (national average is a 21), but it's not terrible. An 18 is in the 33rd percentile, meaning 1/3 of ACT-takers did worse than you.

An 18 will definately get you into community college, and maybe even some state schools (it all depends on what state you live in and the school).

If you do end up going to a junior or community college, it's not the end of the world. Many people transfer into a traditional college after one or two years of community college with good grades. You may be a C student now, but if you stay focused, there's no reason why you couldn't make A's or B's at a community college. Many successful people have gone through community colleges.

Here's a few lists of famous people who went to community colleges:

  3. Most community colleges don't require a certain SAT or ACT score. They will just make you take their own tests or college prep classes in order to get in.

  4. a 1320? Do you mean reading and math? If you just mean those two, you are pretty much set. If you mean all three...yikes.

  5. Most colleges want above 25.

  6. dont report your act score to universities. 1320 on sat is good enough

  7. 18 is about average I think.  Colleges don't look for average though...
