I got an ear ache? any home remedies? Common house products??

Eh i was at work with a bump cap with ear plugs and it fell off my head and the ear plugs landed in dirty potato water and i just stuck them back in! now my ear hurts really bad!! feels like theres water in it and it just hurtss!!!

  1. You might want to go to a doctor if you have an ear infection because you could need an antibiotic. If you wont go to the doctor then try this : Take a small amount of hydrogen peroxide, lye on your side, and pour into your ear. Let it sit there for one minute and then flip over and let it drain out. Do this once a day


  2. garlic oil works really well for my son.  You can get it at a health food store.

  3. role up a news paper sheet a long one make one end small enough to fit in your ear and on the other end make sure its open wide enough on lite it on fire. it will evaporate the water, no joke I'm serious i use this remedy and it works for me.

  4. lavender oil and tea tree oil are really good for ear infections but I guess they're not a common household product for a lot of people.

    Different remedies depend on if it's fungal or bacterial (or viral which is less likely because of how you got it), with dirty potato water it could be either.  

    I'd get some tea tree oil, it's pretty cheap and quite commonly found nowadays.
