...for administration purposes.

Now, he is from the oil sector, and that industry does have that kind of money.

Question is...would I be 'covering all my bases' if I sent only half the money to begin with?

  1. More fool you if you send a penny

  2. Scam.  Don't touch it.  Now, if he really has all this money, don't you think he can afford to pay competent staff to get his cash abroad?  Or use the banking system?  (I'm sure they have one is S.Africa too)Why would he choose you, someone he doesn't know at all??  This guy isn't for real.

  3. You sound like a financial wizard. Send him the money then send me another 10k and i,ll send you the holy grail by return of post.

  4. 419 Scams, still?  Haven't they caught on yet?

Well, that is why we have sites like 419 Eater ( http://www.419eater.com/ ) and many others, devoted to the baiting of these scam artists and making them do crazy things for our money!  Some are just hilarious, as shown in the link in "source"

  8. This is called 'advance fee loan fraud'.  He is not sending you any money.  He is relying on your greed for the $10k so he makes a nice profit.

If you send money to this loser, you're an idiot.  Seriously, you won't get a cent.  I get those kind of emails all the time. Just hit the delete button.  There is no money in it for you.

Don't send your address or any contact details.  Seriously, if you were getting a cheque in the mail, you would ask for that fee to be taken out of the total amount.  That's what happens when you get a loan from a bank.

    Best wishes
