I got an obstructed view seat at Fenway park. It's Box 15 row 17 seat 1. Is it right behind a pole? How bad?

  1. For the first time in 40 years, I attended a game in Fenway. I, too, was behind a pole. It was in between the pitcher's mound and the batter. I leaned a little to the left to see the pitch being thrown and a little to the right to see the batter. I couldn't not see anything hit to right Field, however. If one is a Red Sox fan, and one enjoys the history of baseball, obstructed views in Fenway are no big deal.

I don't know about that seat in particular, but it seems like the obstructed view seats at Fenway aren't too terrible.  You still get at least a partial view of the field, the atmosphere, and you should be able to see the jumbotron.   You also should be able to lean one way or the other and see more of the field.
