This is another example of the notorious Nigerian Fraud.  Do not open any email from or with reference to Nigeria, Ghana, or any other African country.  Nigerian Fraud (so named for its origins and #1 source) has spread to Ghana and a number of other African countries.  It is a form of "advance payment fraud."

Did you you apply for a job with Total Petroleum?  Are you an experienced geologist, petroleum engineer or reservoir engineer?  It should be incredibly obvious to you that this is a scam!

Any email which says you have won a lottery, come into an inheritance, need to update your bank account details, got a job in a foreign country, etc. is fraud.

Nigeria?Be warned not to trust any such offers from Nigeria or any other African countries.These guys have developed these types of scams into a fine art and are trying every trick to pull in suckers.It is a pity that the Indian government is standing and watching as a mute spectator while these fraudsters bilk innocent
