I was at a dave matthews concert with friends in wisconsin and im from illinois. The cops surrounded my friends & i while tail gating before the concert by all the other limo's.

I was forced to blow into the breathalizer and i got a .01 and they took my picture , info & everything. Because im only 16 they said they would mail me a ticket. Im currently waiting for the ticket...and i have not told my parents about wat happpened.

I really need some advice on whether my license is going to be suspended, even tho i was not driving & whether ill be able to just pay a fine and be done with it. Will i be facing some kind of court date?? Will i need to tell my parents i received the ticket even if i can pay the fine on my own

????.........& if this ticket stays on my record until im 18 will it affect my college application process??..........................

any advice would really be appreciated.

  1. hi, I found this sight for you that will answer all of your questions about wisconsin underage drinking.

this won't just "go away" sweetie you are going to have to talk to your parents. I know it is going to be hard, but do it. it is better to hear it right away from you than to find out down the road. everyone makes mistakes that is part of life

for future concerts at Alpine valley...go...enjoy yourself...but be warned walworth county sheriff's and the east troy police department are always on the look out for young people drinking and they do crack down on it big time...for every concert.
