OK well this was a while ago...but i got arrested for helping a guy out who was getting jumped by 3 guys. I didnt know the guy or the guys that were attacking him but i got out of my car and just went crazy (boxer in high school) and well this guy takes out a gun on me...and then i was like wait..and i take mine out as well and point it at him (don't ask why i had the gun....) and then they got all shocked since i was going against 3 of them so they turned around and tried to run..but i grabbed one of them and litterally beat the Fack out of him...and just then them cops come and they arrest me for *violent attacks on a civilian* the guy i helped tries to tell them but they just ignored him and put me into the car and took me away (all this happened in less than 5 mins) and then i'm in jail for about 5 hours before my buddy bails me out...by using my money -.- haha lol...so i don't think this was fair at all? like i don't know the guy and just saved this guy from getting killed and i get fined, arrested, and another black mark on my never ending violations...but i don't think this was fair..anything i can do?

  1. Why didn't you get charged for brandishing a weapon...

  2. It was good of you to help the guy, but you went wrong about here:

"so they turned around and tried to run..but i grabbed one of them and litterally beat the Fack out of him..."

They were running away, you weren't protecting yourself or the other guy from them, there was no need for it. You could just grab that guy to detain him until the cops would get there, beating him was when you crossed the line.

Anyway, it was still good of you to interfere, I hope this arrest thing blows over easily for you and that those guys will get theirs.

  3. Maybe the victim could make a statement in your defense; I doubt you could set that up on your own though...you probably need a lawyer.

  4. Don't pull a gun unless you intend to use it.

  5. If I'm ever jumped on by three guys, I hope you're around, but same in uk the good guy gets arrested, I think it's called 'political correctness'.

  6. You could sue the police station for arresting you with any charges and bring the guy that was getting beat up so he can testify with you

  7. Can you contact the guy you saved? He can swear to the police that he was attacked by those guys you pointed your gun to.

Also call the media ask for witness. Contact everyone you know to prove that you are a good guy that is not likely to attack anyone (you're more like someone who would help others without thinking about yourself)

And get yourself a good lawer. Good luck.

  8. hi I'm a chinese and in China we always do something called 忍 it means well I can't explain this word in Chinese you know how one chinese word could mean a whole book in english my mom spent three years trying to teach me this word's meaning and teaching me how to do it. the basic meaning of this word is something like  hold . I know it probably doesn't make s**+. to you but you'll get it when you get old and why the fack do you have a facken gun in your facken hand and why did you facken fack it out of you facken pocket and facken pointed at that facken guy?????? if I were you I would just walk away and and go home and fack my gf or something. so don't do facken things man.

  9. When they tried to run and you didn't let them, you stepped over into the dark side luke.  That's excessive force no matter who you are.  You were doing okay until that point.  Just couldn't let it go....

  10. you acted on self defence, and your intentions were honourable. But a court jury, judge will only look at evidence not good intentions.

The 3 guys you attacked could potentialy turn all this around and make up a story that you were trying to attack them! and the guy you helped can say he doesnt want to testify on your defence. Then you will be really screwed my friend.

You need to get a defence statement from the guy you were helping, but it possible you may face charge like GBH section 18, possession of a firearm. it dont look good, and this could all end up in the Crown court.

guilty plea 5 years imprisonment at least!

a harsh lesson on the street is to call the police not ever get involved in anyone elses mess. get a good lawyer
