I could see her bones, even after someone fed her. She's a about 3 months old. So I started to heat up milk and give it to her. She's getting to old for milk and won't even sniff the cat food I lay out. how do I get her to eat the real food?

  1. I think you should take her to the vet to check and see if she has worms or maybe some kind of infection.  A cat can dehydrate in as little as 24 hours so getting her checked is very important.

  2. She was probably depressed, no joke this really happens with animals. You vet should be able to put her on an IV treatment so she can at least have some fluids.

  3. A visit to your vet would be a good idea.  She needs to be checked for any medical problems and she may need a special diet to regain her weight and strength.  This would also be a good time to set up a schedule for her inoculations and decide the best age for her to be spayed.

    Good Luck!

  4. Try bringing her to your local vet and get her checked out. It could be worms or something like that. Hopefully it's not anything to serious! Good Luck!

  5. You should never give cats milk!  Most likely this has messed up her digestive system.  Take her to the vet!

  6. I hope you had someone feeding your cat while you were gone.  And milk is not good for kittens that  are over 8 weeks.  Definetely stop feeding her milk.  And get her to the vet right away.
