I got bit by a Fire Ant And i need help real quick ?

I got bit by a fire ant on my finger and its really swollen and i put cream on it and took a allergy pill, How big is a normal ant bite? And its really swollen. Help please! One more question do fire ants bite or sting? Thanks so much ! =]

They can get pretty big, whether they bite or sting, well they bite to hold the skin, and then inject their poison.

To sooth it, take reqular aspirin, not tylenol, good old fashion aspirin, crush the tablet, add just enough water to make a paste, and apply. The salicylic  acid in the aspirin will reduce the inflammation and itching. Acne spot treatmants that have salicylic acid in them will do the same, but not quit as effective.
