I got bottled a couple of weekends ago, any chance of compensation?

I got smashed round the face with a bottle a couple of weeks ago and now have a lasting scar on my face, inch long above my eyebrow, i didnt report it to the police because it was one of my (psycho) friends, who is not so much of a friend any more but the doctors are aware of it, is there any chance of compensation?

Unless your psycho friend puts his hand in his pocket then no.

If you had reported it to the police then the Criminal Injuries Board might have looked at a claim but you wouldn't get much for a 1 inch scar anyway.
