  1. definitely, it takes some people longer to get over the pain than others....take a tylenol or advil or something

plus you can chew soft sugarfree gum...it helps to work out the soreness some :D

    good luck!!

  2. yea it is i had braces about a year a go and they will hurt for a while especially when you first get them. so you'll just have to hang in there. but advil or tylenol can help lessen the pain.

  3. haha, i got braces about a month ago on my top teeth. and trust me, i felt the same exact way. its perfectly normal. my mom just gave me some tylonal or some medicine to stop the pain. it kinda works but, you just have to wait it out. the pain will go away shorty.

and for the cuts on the side of your mouth, put some wax over the brace thats cutting it.

    it helps :)

  4. I had a similar experience when I wore braces.  The first two tightenings hurt but it got a lot easier after that.  You will be glad you got braces after all is said and done.

  7. Yes, it's normal.

A few teeth will hurt longer then the others.

Just try to keep eating soft food, so you dont make it worse.
