I also had to get that little metal thing behind my front tooth for my bad overbite. (I think its called a turbo or something) Well, anyway, i guess i have been banging against it too much or something, because last night i was sleeping, and it fell off. I might have been banging against it or something, but i didn't think they were supposed to do that. So then when it feel off, i felt my tooth, and it felt like some part was missing, and had been attached to the turbo. My question is, is it possible for that to happen? & What should i do? Tell my ortho? Will he get mad at me? UGH! Please help! Thanks so much.

  1. You HAVE to tell him or you jeopardize your treatment, do it asap!

  2. YES THINGS LIKE THAT HAPPEN AND YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR ORTHO IMMEDIATELY. YOUR ORTHO SHOULDN'T GET MAD BUT YOUR PARENTS MIGHT BE BECAUSE THEY ARE THE ONE'S FOOTING THE BILL HAHA!! YOU WILL BE ALRIGHT.

    GOOD LUCK

  3. Yah. I think you should first tell your parents exactly what happened and then they will probably call your orthodontist and it will all work out just fine. I don't think anyone will get mad at you! I mean it's not like you did it on purpose!

Just relax and have fun! :)
