I got braces.. will i still be able to model?

I have braces but I'm having them off in another 3-4 months and I'm participating in a modelling competition. Will they not like that i have braces and do you always have to smile because i think that when i smile with my braces its a bit unattractive. Will they mind ... ?

If it's for teenagers, then other girls will probably have them too. Besides, they can cover anything up with computers now.

Yeah i agree with Melay most of the time models dont even smile so you got a good chance :) If not come back after youv'e taken them of

I saw on an episode of the janice dickinson modeling agancy where a girl got turned down because she had braces. After she got them taken off, she came back and was hired.

Yes, you still can but try and smile because braces do make you pout look a bit funny!

most likely they will mind now, but not mind when you have them taken off and have straight teeth.

-i think braces can look quite cute and not unattractive at all.!

-you must be good looking -your in a modelling contest so if they really do have the poteinual to be a model the judge's will look past that.

Depends exactly what they're after, in some cases they'll be bad, but then braces are something to work with for other people because they kind of symbolise being a teenager and so if someone is after a teenage look they can score you extra points.

that will all depend on your agency or manager,,,

if they dont prehaps you can ask to pause your modelling for 4 months and come back twice as good ??

or tell them your going on holidays :D

but iit will depend on the agency, there is no rule against it, that i know of.
