I got break fluid in my eye?

hi, i am a automotive apprentice and i was performing a break fluid flush a couple of days ago and i think i got a splash (small drop) of break fluid in my eye when i was removing the old fluid from the resivoir. i was just wondering what could happen to my eye? my eyelid on the hurts to blink on the left side of the lid but i think that was hapening before i got breakfluid in my eye. i got polyspourn drop and have used them twice but my eye still hurts, will i be ok?

  1. You should have flushed them with water for 15 minutes when it happened. If they are still hurting you need to seek help NOW. You only have two eyes...


  2. See a doctor immediately.  You will probably be okay, but this is something where you do NOT want to take chances.

  3. Go to the hospital, your eyes need to be washed out,go right away.

  4. Toughen up.  You're going to get a lot worse things in your eye in a career as a mechanic.  If you didn't go blind or was in immediate pain when it happened, then you're okay.
