I got caught stealing.. afraid to go into other stores i have stole from in the past?

i got caught stealing at walmart .. well not really but my friend was stealing and she was caught. i did in the past steal from Kohl's, target, and Goodman's and i am afraid to go back into those stores to buy things... i will NEVER steal again. can they come up to me and tell me that they have me on camera stealing? and than i can get charged... help i will never steal again. is taht allowed to say that though? after i leave the store and come back and don't steal anything from the store? can they charge me.. :[[[.... help.

just go back... they dont really care once they have no evidence on you... so just leave the stuff at home and you are fine.

If they have you on camera they would've stopped you in the parking lot at the time it happened and you would've been charged for it a long time ago.

Look hun, I think the problem is that your remorse is disproportionate to what you did.  Thats going to make it hard for you to not only steal but to do anything illegal.  Dont be such a chickenshit.

It's unlikely that you will be charged. Usually, they need to catch you in the act, but it could happen if they have video evidence, especially if they find stolen items on your person, your car or your home. You could definitely be banned from the stores.

You should have thought of this earlier. If you are really worried, don't go to the stores you have stolen from for 3 to 10 years, depending on your state and how much you have stolen.

it is true you can still be prosecuted if you are recognized by there surveillence tape or property theft personell...you should stay out of  the store..sorry... i am also glad you are not going to risk alot!!!!! by shoplifting ie arrest  jail court  hire an atty   do community service.... and lastly a permanent record.

You are over reacting.Most likely not. If you did something in the past that you didn't get caught for it's unlikely they're gona come and arrest you in the store seeing as they haven't done anything yet lol. Feel free to shop walmart without watching your back :)

Yes, if they recognize you, they can still call the police.

So it depends on whether you think enough time has passed that you will not be possibly recognized. As in years. I guess that's the price you'll pay for stealing and not being caught.
