I got coloured contacts today, but are they supposed to be blurry!?!?!?!?

Hiya. I got coloured contacts for the first time today. I put them in, and I really like them! But, they're blurry! I think it's normal, but I'm not sure.. Is it normal???

I just started wearing colored contacts as well and yes things can appear cloudy at times when you first put them while there adjusting remember because there color contacts your looking through a colored lens. your retina adjust to seeing through both the colored and clear part of the lens.  

However if your vision is blurred to point of not being able to see or read clearly then I would take the lens out and make sure it was clean and put on the right way and not inside out.  Hope this helps

Yes, it's normal. You have to wait for your eyes to adjust.

No, it's not normal.  Are they prescription?  Either way, check with your eye doctor or the place you purchased them.  I wear disposable contacts and sometimes I put a new one in and it's blurry.  It doesn't happen a lot, but when it does, I just call the eye doctor and I tell them.  They always give me a new one for free.

If you got these from your doctor, they could tell you if they are fitting you right or if they are defective. You should always be able to see well and they should be checked by your doctor. If you did not get them from a legal source and therefore have no one to help you with this, then you are on your own. It is also really bad for you.
