I got contacts today?

Question

I got contacts this morning and im absoloutley in love with them! The only problem is, one of my mom's friends [[ who im very close with ]] She is taking me somewhere for my birthday tomorrow at 9:00 am. It's a total surprise and i have no idea where we are going. I really wanna wear my contacts but I mean it will be my 2nd day with them and im afraid they will get uncomfortable. I love my contacts and i wanna wear them!

Then wear them, the more you wear them the more comfortable they become.  If they get uncomfortable, take them out, and bring your glasses.

The first week or so,your contacts feel funny and tend to be a tad blurry,but the more you wear them,the more easier it is to put them in, and the more comfy they will get. And if you get uncomfy(i hope not) then bring your glasses. Good Luck and have a blast!

DONT listen to other people. haha.

I know you want to wear them, but you shouldn't if you don't know how long you are gonna be gone for!. I just got mine recently and they said to wear them 4 hrs the 1st day, 6 the next and so on. That way it gives your eyes time to form a callus(i know it sounds gross!). If you wear them too long for the beginning then your eyes will be very sore and you won;t be able to put them back in for a while longer!

Other people w/o contacts wouldn;'t get it, so don't listen!

i think that you should wear them. i wear mine all the time, and they arent uncomfortable at all. it depends on what you are using to clean them as well. as long as u have good cleaner then theyll be fine and wont irritate ur eyes.
