I got cox digital in my living room, i tired to install it in my bed room & all i get is channals 1-23?

i have digital cable in the living & i installe the basic cable channels in my room & i only get channels 1-24, i dont see how thats possible unless cox found a way to block the channels. the cox guys told me they can do it fo $30

you need 2 digital boxes to receive all channels!

Is your bedroom TV a digital set?

Otherwise, you're probably only getting the analog channels that are on the cable.  Channels 24 and up may all be digital, and you need a converter for those.

Not too long from now, they will probably all be digital and you will need a converter box for them all, unless your TV can demodulate QAM signals (most newer ones can).

you are suppose to have basic channels without the cable box maybe you need to setup the tv to cable
