I got eye surgery when i was younger... does it have a name?

when i was four, i got surgery on my eyes.

i was born with crossed eyes... i know it had something to do with the muscles, and they tightened them or whatever?

and i got stitches on the inside, under my eyes.

is there a name for this?

also i have nystagmus, is this connected?

I had two surgeries at four and five for strabismus.  I think it was just called strabismus surgery, but I am not sure.

I am not sure if your surgery was related to nystagmus or not.
