I got filings and my tooth where i got the filling is hurting really bad its getting worse

on tuesday and the pain is getting worse, before my filling it didnt hurt. what should i do to make the pain go away

Sometimes if you had a big enough cavity in the tooth that you had filled, then the nerve was involved and irritated. It is not unusual for a situation like that to end up in the nerve dying after getting it filled. You may end up with a root canal. But ultimately, your dr will have to evaluate the tooth to see.

I agree with the first awnser, but it may be a the filling is too high. You also may want to try a anti inflamitory such as advil for a few days to see if it helps. I would recommend a fo;;ow up with your dentist.
