Question:

I got hit in my open eye with a soccer ball.....?

I was playing in a soccer game and a girl kick the soccer ball really hard at my eye not on purpose though and now i have a blind spot the blind spot got smaller, its in the right bottom corner of my left eye its kind of like a blur but it doesn't go away and when i close my eye i seen i spot like when you look into the light but i haven't been looking into any lights. I called a few optician but they were closed because its 9:30PM

what should i do for now? i don't want to loose my vision by the morning..

  1. well 1st off u prob wont loose your vision

    2nd off u dont play soccer u do soccer we all know that and that is y u cant see

If you have blurred vision and a flash of light, you really need to get to a doctor.  Blurred vision and light flashes can be a sign of retinal detachment, where part of the back of your eye breaks away.  I don't want to scare you, but this could be a really serious condition.  I would suggest going to an emergency room if you cannot get in to see an eye doctor.  Hopefully an optometrist will post on here with some good advice, too.  Good luck.
