I got hit in the eye with a football and it created a red spot what is wrong with my eye and my eye still hurt

My eye still hurts and the football even know out my contact??? so will my eye eventually stop hurting and should i put my contact back in my eye or not or wait??? thanx

Sounds like a burst blood vessel behind your eyeball. It will go down in time but best to go to the doctor to make sure all is OK with you.

I would not be putting your contacts back in until you have seen the doctor.

Leave your contact out until you see an eye doc. Your eye sight should never be neglected. It's much too precious to take chances with.
