Ok, how would you handle this... your husband refuses to hear you when you speak... I'm talking... he will ask a question, example: Where is that dvd? I tell him "in the living room in the rack or on top of the dvd player.... only two places I ever put them. Three hours later and a sailor talking attack later when I come home I walk over, pick it up and hand it to him.

He asks me where it was, I TOLD HIM AGAIN. He asked me AGAIN, so this time I asked him "does it make a difference? If I tell you AGAIN it isn't like you are going to hear me anyways, the important thing is you can stop going off over a dumb movie" So he turns around and SCREAMS AT ME "Why can't you just answer the question" and I said calmly "Why can't you listen to me when I answer your questions or even when I speak?" He blew up and walked out of the house into the garage.

Who is in the wrong here?

  1. Sounds like he has selective hearing or he wants you to "fetch" the movie for him 'cuz he's too lazy! He's in the wrong in my opinion.

  2. You were in the right.  When a guy asks where is the _______, what they are saying is will you bring me the ______ cause i am too lazy to get off my as*.  Hide the remote and see what happens, he will go crazy.  lol

  3. You did the right thing. Taking the remotes was smart too.Just let him know that he has to respect and listen to you as well. Tell him instead of wondering were his stuff is,too put it in one place, and leave it there. Tell him too label it if he has too. Tell him to stop screaming orders to you like he's in charge at home like he may be at work. And remind his *** if he storms out again, that you might not be there when he gets back,or you could have his cramp on the porch waiting for him.Good Luck on everything.
