I got into a big fight with gf and she wants a poem. help?

ok so basically we been together for one year and i was so distant even though i shouldnt have been and when she wanted 2 break up now i realized what she means to me and were good now i guess all along she wanted me to open up to her and i finally did but i still want to really show her im sorry and she means a lot. i remmeber a few months ago she wanted me to write her a poem.. shes big on poems.. but i dont know anything about them. my hobbies involve soccer, magic

my major is psych my minor is bio

im so far away from ela that i dont know the first thing about it!

how can i write her a good poem? they dont have 2 rhyme right? can they just be like lines written out or augh i dont knoww..

maybe you can copy s*x and the city and just give her the book that has the greatest love letters of all time....

she will be impressed that you thought to do something like that, since you aren't that good with words, and if she mentions it being from s*x and the city...tell her you were hoping that she would say that, because your love for her, is a big as Big's love is for Carrie!!

There are all sorts of different types of poems.. I suggest looking them up on the internet and finding a format you like.  Your new to it, so don't expect too much from yourself.  If you put some good effort into it, then she'll know and it's the thought that counts.  Good luck!

relax. you know what a poem is. you're correct--it doesn't need to rhyme. the cool thing about poetry is there really aren't any hard rules. the key is be yourself, be honest and don't be afraid to put yourself on paper. Sounds like she's a big fan, so the more personal it is the more she'll probably like it. You obviously want to say some things so remember the important thing here is to do it. Don't worry about it being good. She knows this is new for you. Go for it dude.
